Capyba / Company memory
Company memory

Keep the knowledge.
Carry it into the next task.

Capyba preserves source-linked company knowledge across people, projects and supported AI tools. Recover the decision, understand why it was made and prepare the context that applies now.

Keep the decision and its reason.

Who confirmed it? Which source supports it? When does it apply? What replaced it? The answers stay with the record.

  • Source evidence and owner
  • Effective dates and review deadlines
  • Confirmed, disputed, replaced or retired status

Give changes a reviewable history.

Compare sources, propose a correction and send consequential changes to an authorised reviewer. The history explains the current answer.

  • Readable changes and source references
  • Protected instructions and scoped approvals
  • Version history and rollback
A record with a purpose

Preserve more than the final document.

01

Find an answer without rebuilding the background.

A decision may begin in a meeting, be debated in a thread and become a work item. Keyword search, semantic retrieval and bounded relationship search bring the relevant pieces together with their source references and permissions.

Memory has value on its own. Recover and reuse knowledge even when you do not have usage traces for a cost analysis.

02

Distinguish a recent sync from a current decision.

A document synced this morning may contain an old instruction. Source timestamps, effective dates and review deadlines answer different questions. Capyba keeps them distinct, surfaces conflicts and links superseded records to their replacements.

03

Update what changed. Reuse the rest.

Incremental updates, duplicate detection and reusable records avoid unnecessary processing as the archive grows. Bounded retrieval selects the evidence a task needs. Source changes trigger review of dependent knowledge and context.

The economic view includes ingestion, updates, retrieval and recovery, so maintaining company memory remains part of the cost of useful work.

04

Keep the knowledge when the workflow changes.

Portable context packs, supported adapters and scoped MCP access carry relevant knowledge into a new task or supported AI tool. Packs retain sources, versions, freshness and access boundaries. They do not require replacing the source application.

Capyba does not rewrite every agent’s private native memory. Compatibility is specific to the destination. Exported copies remain under the recipient’s control after they leave Capyba.

05

Preserve the learning as work gets done.

Capture the reason for a decision and the lessons from a completed task, then link them to the evidence and outcome. Keep authoritative issue status in tools such as Linear and Jira. Distinguish selected public research from reviewed internal knowledge.
